Paul Bowen will be teaching Assemblage with Wood at the Cape Cod Museum of Art, in Dennis, MA.
Saturday, May 9 / 10:30 am -- 2:30 pm
Sunday, May 10 / Noon -- 5 pm
Learn to build structures by using scrap wood with simple and safe techniques. Whether with electric or hand-tools, abstract or figurative methods, students will explore a range of possibilities of sculpture in wood construction. Tools and materials will be supplied but may be augmented by the student if they wish. Students should wear long pants, boots or hard-top shoes; bring safety glasses and any appropriate tools. A sketch book and pencil are also suggested. Bring your lunch.

He will also be teaching The Wood Experience in Sculpture with Irèn Handschuh at the Fine Arts Work Center, Provincetown, MA, July 19-24, 2009
